Create and design your own handmade organic ring from scratch. Personalise your piece with custom textures, engravings, fingerprint impressions, and optional gemstones, then have it professionally cast in the precious metal of your choice. Select from sterling silver, solid gold (9–18ct in yellow, rose or white), or brass. You’ll only pay for the metal used (by weight) on the day of your workshop. Join us at our flagship studio and store in Darlinghurst (136A Darlinghurst Rd) for a hands-on jewellery-making experience. In this beginner-friendly workshop, you’ll be introduced to the fundamentals of traditional lost-wax casting. Over two engaging and practical hours, our skilled jewellers will guide you step by step as you craft a one-of-a-kind ring.

Thanks to the premium materials used, your finished ring will be water-resistant, sweat-proof and rust-proof—so you can wear it with confidence every day.

What You’ll Experience:

One Ring Per Person
Each participant creates one ring during the session. Your wax design is then cast in metal and professionally finished according to your preferences. Your completed ring will be delivered to your door within 3–4 weeks.

Learn the Process
Our experienced instructors will teach you the basics of lost-wax casting, including how to incorporate gemstones and other design features. Once you’ve learned the techniques, the creative decisions are all yours.

Personalise Your Design
Customise your ring with textures, engravings, fingerprint impressions, and optional gemstones. You choose the size, shape, style and overall look.

Weigh, Choose & Pay
At the end of the class, your wax ring is weighed and you select the metal for casting. Because you control the design, size and metal choice, the final cost is entirely up to you. You’ll only pay for the material used, with most rings typically costing between $50–$150.

We Handle the Finishing
Leave the rest to us. Our local jewellers will cast, clean, polish and finish your ring following your instructions. Similar to ceramics, the lost-wax casting and finishing process takes around three weeks. Once complete, your ring will be shipped to you with tracking.
